Sales / Project Manager Representative – Southern/Northern California
Laboratory by Design, Inc is looking for an experienced, motivated, results-driven project manager/sales representative to manage existing and new customer accounts in the Southern California region. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and works well with a team of representatives and installers to develop strategies and sales for new clients and existing customers in the Southern California region. Excellent computer and communication skills in verbal and written form are required. Knowledge of the construction industry and ability to read construction plans and drawings a must.
As a member of the LBD Southern California branch operations team, you will be responsible for assisting to fulfill the company's sales goals and objectives. In addition to marketing and sales, you will perform takeoffs (from blueprints), develop estimates, prepare written client proposals, develop project schedules and cost estimates, supervise projects, and ensure quality control throughout the entire project. On-going business development with our customers including; architects, owners, engineers and general contractors is a vital part of this position.

Sales / Project Manager Representative – Oregon/Washington
Our Project Managers need to be focused, organized, and excel at bringing a high level of customer service to each job. The project manager is absolutely vital in producing a quality product that includes on time installation in order to uphold our vision of quality, value and high customer service. LBD Project Managers are responsible for coordinating, organizing and communicating all aspects of a project including: submittals, schedules, contracts, costs, production, changes, installation and project closeout and maintain proactive customer relations throughout project. Work includes: clearly communicating the estimates, design, and project scope to the manufacture representatives based on the customer's intent and project scope; maintaining vendor schedules and scopes; maintaining cost control and contract status; coordinating and purchasing to ensure customers scope and schedule are met; assist as needed with estimating; assist in servicing in-house accounts and with sales presentations, scope reviews and specification reviews as needed.

Laboratory Casework Installer - West Coast, US
For over 30 years, Laboratory by Design, Inc., has provided laboratory furniture systems that support breakthrough discoveries and scientific advancement. LBD is a growing full-service specialty firm that designs and contracts for installation of laboratory furniture for research in the public and private sector. Our team is devoted to providing laboratories that meet the high-tech needs of the scientific community. LBD is looking to subcontract licensed, bonded, casework installers to work on an as-needed basis with our team of professionals throughout the West Coast region.
As subcontract installer, you will complete furniture assembly/installation per installation specifications and blueprints to meet customer’s satisfaction; inspects furniture for proper operations according to manufacturer’s guidelines. Unload system furniture orders from truck for onsite installation. Products for placement, leveling and installation include; cabinets, countertops, fume hoods for all types of free-standing furniture, epoxy countertops, metal and wood furniture.
